The Hell is Us is a new game featuring a dystopian Earth and Humanity’s battle with twisted monsters. In this survival horror adventure game, humans fight against the demons from another world.

Developers
Rogue Factor is developing Hell is Us. Whereas Nacon is in command of the allocation of this title. The Developers have provided various story-focused games in the past, but this specific title took more than four years to launch. Due to a delay. Story
The storyline of the game Hell of Us starts with you as Remi travelling through the monster-roaming dystopian country Hadea on Earth, and we can easily see the modern defence equipment lying useless around. Catastrophe struck Hadea, and you are stranded fighting these hollow monsters.
There you will meet many monsters of otherworldly origin called Hollow Walkers, whom you can combat with the help of your drone. There are no location markers, trackers, or anything to help you, so it becomes more challenging.
Gameplay
This is not like your normal RPG with all trackers and map indications, you have to listen to your character properly. Hence, pay close attention when talking to NPCs.
The drone you get will help you a lot, be it finding quest clues or combating hollow walkers by distracting them. Finding Remi’s parents is what you will need. You are often left to your plans, and there is little help altogether besides some chimes.
Combat
You get a handheld tablet that gives you some clues for navigating Hadea. With the tablet and your private drone Kapi, you have to find clues and fight monsters. Use your health and stamina properly, as you take more damage in an exhausted state.
Your drone is your best friend, helping you in pretty much every way.
Weapons
Even though the game is set in the modern world, our best guess is that these weapons are useless to fight hollow walkers. Use Swords, polearms, and axes to fight these hollow guys coming out of calamity.
- Sword: Fight in midway good for heavy attacks
- Axe: Short range with quick attacks, also uses its spinning attack to take out multiple hollow guys.
- Spear: Longest range target hollows that have short range. Uses more stamina than usual.
Enemies
Different kinds of enemies are present in the game, some are bipedal white colored creatures that attack you with their limbs. Also, you will face some abstract entities with their own attack pattern.
Pricing
The game is not out yet, but you are given the choice to preorder Hell is US at $50.
Final thoughts
Game Hell is us will be a heck of a game when published. Absence of the markers and waypoints will force you to pay more attention to the calamity in Hadea. The gameplay is normal and resembles a soulslike game, albeit being different. The story-driven approach of the game will be a key selling point for hell is us. We can not wait for the release of this game.
